Best BBQ Party

What makes BBQ so special in the Aussie land? BBQ is almost considered as a time for social gatherings that defines the lifestyle of people while outdoors. How best can a BBQ dish be accompanied with than a large mug of beer chilled to beat the heat outside, some meat products that are basic like chops, snags and steaks. To top it all you can run around a little, by playing a game of cricket or so to keep up the hunger pangs just as much as you can digest. An outdoor environment generally suits BBQ cooking the best, burning charcoal or wood helps tremendously. So the next time you plan out a party you know what you got to do.

BBQ Basics

The basics of BBQ are that you need to keep in mind before starting up a BBQ of your own.
  • Always keep the grills as well as the smokers clean. The inside body and its cavity must be clean before starting a BBQ.That can help in avoiding the flavour of leftover food on the new uncooked food.
  • When you BBQ,a turkey for example and notice that the smell of smoke is influencing the flavour and there is a rather "smoky" flavour then you should try keeping the outer surface moist so that the fumes can not enter the meat.
  • Although all recipes suggest marination hours before the meat is going to be cooked, it is advisable if you could keep the marinaded meat in a closed lid container and frequently keep tossing it so that the entire meat gets exposure to the marination, that avoids concentration of marination on just one side.
  • Try to always start the fire early. Many a times the charcoal used takes time to ignite completely unless that happens, meat would take a longer time to cook
